The Sugarloaf helmet has a pointed top that deflected blows to the head. Soldiers during the late 12th Century relied on it to protect them in battle. This helmet is handmade from 18 gauge steel and may vary slightly in its size and finish. Helm is full sized and wearable. It is great for costume parties or for display.
